What a nice lake Millpond Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Brush Lagoon since you're here at Millpond Lake; it's nearby, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Capitola Beach. All year is a perfect time in the Santa Cruz Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Inn at Depot Hill, and if you're here and you like golf, you can pop by De Laveaga Golf Course & Lodge. So much fun stuff to do here

Man, is there lots of amusing things to do near Millpond Lake. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Potbelly Beach, and you get a perfect vista of Sugarloaf Mountain from here. Caldwell Gulch is a great site to go to close to Millpond Lake, | |

and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of San Lorenzo River. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Amaya Creek, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Rincon Fire Road Trail.
New Brighton State Beach is a fine campground here, and Millpond Lake is a spot with many visitors from Santa Cruz-Watsonville. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. Millpond Lake is
one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The high level of precipitation makes Millpond Lake a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls through January, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Millpond
Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Millpond Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 40's. Stay the night at Seacliff State Beach, and Best Western Seacliff Inn is a nice spot to get some rest.
