This lake is so wonderful. Time spent at Capitola Beach in the vicinity of Millpond Lake is always magnificent, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Amaya Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of San Lorenzo River in a kayak, and magnificent hiking is available along the Rincon Fire Road Trail. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more       amusing things to do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Best Western Seacliff Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if you're here, you could also explore lovely Brush Lagoon. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Whites Lagoon is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and dry warm beds await you at The Capitola Inn. Millpond Lake is not far at all from Santa Cruz-Watsonville; you could always                  explore Caldwell Gulch. The high level of rain makes Millpond Lake a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Summertime highs at Millpond Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Millpond Lake temperatures descend to the 40's. Sugarloaf Mountain can be seen from Millpond Lake, and you can spend the day on the beach at Potbelly Beach. For you golfers we recommend close by De Laveaga Golf Course & Lodge; New Brighton State Beach is a nice local campground. Millpond Lake is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
