If you came for an overnight stay Adventures Cross-Country is a magnificent location to camp. You simply have to have a thing about Mill Valley Reservoir. Bohemian Grove is a forest in the vicinity of Mill Valley Reservoir that you can go to; going for a hike on the Bootjack Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Phoenix Lake near Mill Valley Reservoir, and there are great spots to look at along the Temelpa Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Mill Valley Reservoir; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are good; and Rodeo Beach close to Mill Valley Reservoir is no exception, and Kent Falls is a gorgeous site to stop by while you're at Mill Valley Reservoir.
Don't leave Mill Valley Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Throckmorton Trail, and obviously Cascade Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at.
