     Mill Pond is always a pleasure to visit. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do right next door to Mill Pond. Tomki Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; needless to say, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Van Arsdale Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. A pleasant spree to Hatchet Flat is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and do stop by  
   Cape Horn Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Le Trianon Resort is a tremendous location for that, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Ukiah, California is a nice choice.
Mill Pond gets a great deal of water; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the
 
               Coast Ranges. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Pillsbury Resort, and after a long day outdoors Vichy Springs Resort is a nice spot to spend a night or two. You might want to pay a visit to Wolf Valley since you're here at Mill Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Elk Knob Trail.
Mill Pond is located in the Coast Ranges. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Mill Pond is one of those nearby, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Mill Creek.
Throughout the warmest time of the year at Mill Pond temperatures are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Mill Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Eel River is so much fun, and the sight of High Peak is gorgeous.
