Mill Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Lakes are such serene locations, why not visit Bass Lake close to Mill Pond, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Bolema Trail. Nothing beats kicking back at Palomarin Beach, and going for a hike along the Greenpicker Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.

| | Lower Campground is a splendid campground nearby. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Mill Pond will keep you coming back again and again. Mill Pond is near Mill Pond Dam which is a pretty site beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and after a long day outdoors Novato Travelodge is a fine place to spend a night or two. with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Mill Pond.
Hagmaier Pond South is a nice lake next to Mill Pond; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Wildcat Beach. This lake is so wonderful.
While you're here at Mill Pond you can take a hike along the Lake Ranch Trail, and at Mill Pond you can see Firtop. Mill Pond is a reasonably wet place mostly with a good deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here,
and July is the month with the least moisture.
Stay the night at Upper Campground, and of course, all our national parks are great sites to explore and Muir Woods National Monument is no exception.
