All through the summer here at Mill Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 60's. here at Mill Pond, you could also go to pretty Larsen Reservoir. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A journey to Iowa Canyon is always fun, and camping is available at Bucks Bar Campground.

 | Finnon Lake is open year round.? Reservations are not required but there are a limited number of weekends that the campground is reserved by large groups, usually several months in advance.? Contact is through the Mosquito Volnteer Fire Association 530-622-6832(leave a clear message) and we can tell you if the weekend is reserved. We can reserve a spot for you if you wish. If you are fortunte to be ther in the mid winter months you may see a bald eagle or osprey, not to mention all the other wildlife the rest of the year.
