This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out nearby Crogan Creek since you're here at Mill Creek Lakes, and there's brilliant hiking along the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer. From Mill Creek Lakes you obtain a wonderful sight of North Trinity Mountain. Lots of precipitation falls at Mill       Creek Lakes; the month with most of the rain is December; July is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Coast Ranges rocks! Whitewater paddling is great on Trinity River, and Mill Creek Lakes is a great spot to camp, Happy Camp Campground is a great spot. So many fun things to do here at Mill Creek Lakes, too great to be true. This is a popular place for people from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna, and paddling on Klamath River is                  so much fun. Shivshaneen Co is a great campground here, and good hiking is available along the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Mill Creek Lakes, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Mill Creek Lakes all through the winter mostly fall into the 30's.
