Milk Lake is a nice lake to visit. Summertime highs at Milk Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Milk Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. The skiing at Soda Springs is great. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Milk Lake; Round Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail, and if you

| | like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is reasonably near. Milk Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you need a place to stay Chalet View Lodge is a great choice, and why not camp at Grouse Ridge Campground if you're here at Milk Lake. Having a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. just come on down to Milk Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here; if you came for an overnight stay Carr-Feeley Campground is a good location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at
Deer Creek Inn, and as expected, this is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes, Round Lake is a lake around here. Milk Lake is a quite wet place frequently with a lot of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most
rain; the driest of the months is July. There's fine hiking along the Crooked Lakes Trail. Lakes are great; Sanford Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Milk Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting
stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Spaulding Lake Trail, and Yuba River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot nearby.
