Mildred Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The high level of precipitation makes Mildred Lakes a pretty wet spot; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A pleasant place next to Mildred Lakes is Heavens Gate, and Picayune Valley is right here at Mildred Lakes. Why not camp at Hell Hole-In Campground if you're here at Mildred Lakes, and hiking along the Steamboat Trail is wonderful fun.

Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Mildred Lakes is Talbot Campground, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Squaw Valley.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of
Silver Creek - South Fork near Mildred Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley is a perfect place to spend a night or two. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's
at Mildred Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Mildred Lakes tend to be in the 20's. This
lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
And that's not all you can do here at Mildred Lakes. Hit the slopes at Alpine Meadows close by, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Big Spring Trail.
