If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Places like Picayune Valley are great to visit, and everybody close by loves skiing at Squaw Valley. This lake is so wonderful. From Mildred Lakes you obtain a delightful sight of Mount Mildred; after a long day outdoors Squaw Valley Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful location       for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Mildred Lakes is Silver Creek - South Fork, and Talbot Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. There is a great hiking trail near Mildred Lakes called the Five Lakes Creek Trail; you can stay the night at Hell Hole-In Campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Mildred Lakes, too wonderful to be true. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Heavens Gate, unsurprisingly you could also have a look                  at Needle Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Mildred Lakes is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. Near Mildred Lakes you locate the Big Spring Trail which is a good hiking trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Alpine Meadows is a delightful site to do that. Through the summertime at Mildred Lakes temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
