For the period of the warmest time of the year at Mildred Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Mildred Lake. June Mountain is a delightful local ski area. This lake       is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you need to check out Sevehah Cliff since you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. Devils Postpile National Monument is a very good place to have a look at close to Mildred Lake, and if you came for                  an overnight stay Upper McGee Creek Campground is a glorious location to camp. If the weather is great here at Mildred Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Mono Creek offers some good whitewater. A glorious close by hotel is Mammoth Lakes Travelodge, and Lake Crowley Campground is a glorious local campground. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Lake Dorothy is a nearby lake that you could explore, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Joaquin River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Mammoth Creek Inn is a great spot to get some rest; the view of picturesque Mount Baldwin is delightful. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Mildred Lake.
