If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Merlo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Merlo Lake, for example Vineyard Lake; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Chapman Branch. Merlo Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a good deal of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. | | offers hiking at its best, and if you desire a little side tour, try Grass Valley. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges. There's wonderful hiking along the Monte Rio Fire Trail, and you can stay the night at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground. that you need to camp here for a while, Koa Cloverdale Camping Resort is a delightful site for that; if you come at the right time of year, Little Sulphur Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. If you want a wonderful time in
the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. Warm Springs Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Merlo Lake; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Cloverdale is a pleasant choice. For the duration of the
summertime months at Merlo Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 50's with temperatures at Merlo Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You'll
wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Merlo Lake. This is a popular location for people from Santa Rosa-Petaluma; dry warm beds await you at Old Crocker Inn. Merlo Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Not far from Merlo Lake, you'll stumble on Lake Sonoma which is a beautiful lake.
