Looking for something close to Meiss Lake? Juanita Lake is close by; whitewater paddling is glorious on Trask River. Summertime highs at Meiss Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Meiss Lake.       It is very dry here at Meiss Lake generally; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is in the vicinity of Meiss Lake; paddling on Klamath River is so much fun. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Meiss Lake has it all.
