Meiss Lake is a nice lake to visit. Meiss Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a fine time. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel; a good site for whitewater paddling is Mokelumne River - North Fork. Dardanelles Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Meiss Lake; if you need a site to stay Best Tahoe West Inn is a fine choice.

For the duration of the long summer days here at Meiss Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. People from Gardnerville Ranchos love to come to Meiss Lake, and don't leave Meiss Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Camping is available at Woods Lake Campground; a pleasant place to stop by is Dixon Canyon. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return home again. There's tremendous hiking along the Burnside
Lake Trail, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Sierra at Tahoe.
If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Meiss Lake. Good hiking is available along the Charity Valley Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Alpine Campground is a tremendous location to camp.
