If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Meadows Lake. The top of Avenaloca Mesa is easily seen from Meadows Lake, and going for a hike on the Clark Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Fallbrook Kamp Retreat while you're here at Meadows Lake, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Ross Lake. Meadows Lake gets very little rain; February is the       wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Santa Ana Mountains has to offer. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Lake View Inn & Suites, and if you want to have a look at some exciting stuff, have a look at Oak Slope. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Santa Margarita River. Quality Inn Lake Elsinore is a wonderful place to get some rest,                  and at Meadows Lake you always meet someone from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Santa Ana Mountains is great! Near Meadows Lake you find the Morgan Trail which is a great hiking trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bear Creek Golf Course. For the period of the summertime months here at Meadows Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's while Meadows Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Ana Mountains.
