McMurray Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You'll meet a lot of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River - North Fork. McMurray Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; during the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a spot to stay Deer Creek Inn is a nice choice, and       camping is available at Weaver lake Campground. Summertime highs at McMurray Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for McMurray Lake tend to be in the 20's. There's always Weaver Dam to take a look at close to McMurray Lake; the Round Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. All year is a tremendous time in the Northern                  Sierra Nevada if you adore the outdoors. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is near McMurray Lake; Bowman Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around McMurray Lake; Crooked Lakes Trail is a pleasant local trail, and a fine spot is Poison Canyon. It's a fine idea to take a look at Toms Creek, it's near McMurray Lake, and Soda Springs is a magnificent local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at McMurray Campground is always a fine experience; good hiking is available along the Bowman Mountain Trail. So much cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just astonishing. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Fordyce Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to McMurray Lake, and Bowman Mountain is clearly visible from McMurray Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
