It's always fun to stop by McDonald Lake. Around McDonald Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to McDonald Lake called the Deacon Lee Trail; McDonald Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Goldfish Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby. | | to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while McDonald Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
McDonald Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. There's whitewater on Trinity River for all you adrenaline kick people; Billys Peak is pretty and can be made out from here. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are really abundant here | |

bit; Goldfield Campground is a tremendous local campground. There are some great whitewater spots on Coffee Creek, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Stoddard Lake.
