McDonald Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. During the summertime here at McDonald Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for McDonald Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at McDonald Lake; the month with most of the rain is       December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Klamath Mountains is peerless!. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more fun things to do here in the Klamath Mountains. Stoddard Meadow is a perfect place to check out, and do take a look at Stoddard Lake, it's a lovely lake. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to McDonald Lake. If you don’t have                  a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Coffee Creek, and whitewater paddling is great on Trinity River. You get a pleasant view of Billys Peak from McDonald Lake, and if you're looking for a fine tour, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is pretty near. Tangle Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Goldfish Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
