During your stay at McCracken Reservoir do take a look at close by San Clemente City Beach, and you'll meet a lot of people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here. If you came to camp San Clemente State Beach is a pleasant site to do that. Yeah, come here to McCracken Reservoir for a good time. A lake close by is Cook Reservoir, and don't leave McCracken Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Clark Trail.

This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Trabuco Campground is always a perfect experience, and Horno Creek is in close proximity to McCracken Reservoir and is always a bliss to explore. Best Western Dana Point
Inn-By-The-Sea is a great location to get some rest, and there's delightful hiking along the San Juan Trail. If you want to pop by some exciting stuff, pop by Coyote Bluff, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity
to Poche Beach.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to McCracken Reservoir; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at McCracken Reservoir fall into the 40's.
