This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at San Clemente City Beach; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dana Point Inn-By-The-Sea. Horno Creek is in the neighborhood of McCracken Reservoir and is always a delight to have a look at, and there are great places to explore along the Morrow Trail. That right there is       plenty already, but it keeps on going; McCracken Reservoir has it all. You need to stop at Coyote Bluff while you're here at McCracken Reservoir; this is a popular place for people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you came for an overnight stay San Clemente State Beach is a great spot to camp, and Krum Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. The warmest time of the year at                  McCracken Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for McCracken Reservoir tend to be in the 40's. Deep Canyon is a delightful spot to have a look at close by; if you need a site to stay Capistrano Surfside Inn (Vri) is a nice choice. McCracken Reservoir gets very little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at McCracken Reservoir and you like golf, you can explore San Juan Hills Country Club, and if you're here, you could also visit delightful Palisades Reservoir.
