McCloud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. During the summer at McCloud Lake highs are commonly in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows at McCloud Lake throughout the winter typically sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a magnificent       choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around McCloud Lake; John Muir Trail - section 2 is a splendid local trail. Yeah, come here to McCloud Lake for a splendid time. A nice place to take a look at near McCloud Lake is Mammoth Pass, and the skiing at June Mountain is fine. The amount of rain that falls at McCloud Lake is close to the national average; January is when you get the most rain here while June is typically the driest month. If you want a fine                  time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. Twin Falls is an inspiring spot to go to during your stay, and Mono Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. If you haven’t been to Devils Postpile National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and Mammoth Mountain is a splendid local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than McCloud Lake, for example McLeod Lake, and you can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Do set aside some time for Bottomless Pit since you're here at McCloud Lake; you can go for a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail.
