California has many beautiful lakes and McCartneys Pond is one of them. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near McCartneys Pond has to offer. Canyon Creek flows through this vicinity, and there's fine hiking along the Divide Trail. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Weaverville Victorian Inn is a glorious choice, and Bigfoot Campground And RV Park is a great campground here. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Klamath Mountains. all. Do pay a visit to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area while you're here at McCartneys Pond, and while you're here at McCartneys Pond it's a tremendous idea to go to Benjamin Flat. McCartneys Pond is located in the Klamath Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Red Hill can be spotted from McCartneys Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful
nearby hotel is Lewiston Hotel, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Canyon Creek.
For the period of the warm months highs here at McCartneys Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into
the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for McCartneys Pond.
