     McCartneys Pond is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. The amount of precipitation that falls at McCartneys Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through December, and July on the other hand is the driest. You just must adore McCartneys Pond. Benjamin Flat is a good site to check out, and there's whitewater on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline people.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to pop by next to McCartneys
 
   Pond is Clear Gulch, and needless to say Canyon Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Bigfoot Campground And RV Park is a tremendous place to do that, and there are magnificent spots to explore along the Divide Trail.
East Weaver Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Red Hill is stunning and can be spotted from here. All year is a magnificent time in the Klamath Mountains if you love the outdoors. A lake
 
               nearby is Rush Creek Lakes, and get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Trinity River - North Fork. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to McCartneys Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at McCartneys Pond fall into the 20's.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Klamath Mountains. There's so much to do here at McCartneys Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Junction City Campground is a magnificent place for that, and a tour to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is recommended.
