Paddling on Yosemite Creek is so much fun, and there's nice hiking along the John Muir Trail - section 1. Matthes Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Head up to Badger Pass and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a place to stay The Ahwahnee is a good choice. Tenaya Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and you could always discover Cathedral Pass. Matthes Lake is a good place of       common rain; most of the rain falls throughout January while July is generally the driest month. Having a delightful time in the Central Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. Porcupine Flat Campground is a nice local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Matthes Lake; Clouds Rest Trail is a great local trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. At Matthes Lake you can distinguish                  Columbia Finger, and dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest. Through the days of summer at Matthes Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Matthes Lake. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Matthes Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Dome Trail, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop by Nelson Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
