This lake is so wonderful. Cozy Dell Canyon is in the neighborhood of Matilija Lake and is certainly a great place to visit, and Ojai Valley Inn and Spa Golf Course
is a magnificent golf course nearby. Berry Flat is a nice location to check out, and going for a hike on the Ortega Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Emerald Iguana Inn, and nearby
you discover the Cozy Dell Trail which is a good hiking trail.
If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Stay the night at Ortegea Campground, and if you need a site to stay
Ojai Rancho Inn is a good choice. The annual rainfall here at Matilija Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through February, and July is when it's the driest.
