After a long day outdoors Quail Hollow One is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; a lake nearby is       O'Neil Reservoir. And that's not all you can do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of Stanislaus River - Middle Fork in the neighborhood of Matelot Reservoir, and there are plenty of folks from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge here at Matelot Reservoir. Summertime highs at Matelot Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
