From Masterson Meadow Lake you get a great vista of Scott Mountain, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Masterson Meadow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 18; lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by Grouse Creek Lake.
