Martis Creek Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Truckee River, and unsurprisingly East Martis Creek is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. During the warmest time of the year at Martis Creek Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in       the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Martis Creek Lake. This site rocks, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do near Martis Creek Lake. Do pop by Prosser Creek Reservoir near Martis Creek Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Mount Rose Trail. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The skiing at Northstar at Tahoe is great,                  and nearby you hit upon the Mount Rose Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Granite Chief Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Martis Creek Lake. Having a fine time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is trouble-free. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Truckee River; nearby you find Martis Valley which is a glorious site to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Martis Creek Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and Moondunes Beach is a picturesque beach to go to. A golf course near Martis Creek Lake is Ponderosa Golf Course, and a day at lovely Atagam Beach in the vicinity of Martis Creek Lake is a great thing to do. Stay the night at Alpine Meadow Campground; Best Western Truckee Tahoe Inn is a great site to get some rest. Any time is a great time at Martis Creek Lake if you love the outdoors. Squaw Valley is a brilliant local ski area. There's so much to do here at Martis Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Village Green Mobile Home Park is a great spot for that. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Martis Creek Lake; January is when you get the most snow here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
