Martin Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Through the long summer days here at Martin Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Martin Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. There are other places here than Martin Reservoir, for example Ross Lake, and going for a hike along

| | the Clark Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Not much rainfall falls here at Martin Reservoir; all through the month of February you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. For you golfers we recommend nearby Fallbrook Golf Club, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mission Trail. This lake is so wonderful. down the rapids of Santa Margarita River in a kayak. Just can't get enough of Martin Reservoir. Hillside Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Magee Trail. Rainbow Creek
is a magnificent local stream. Why not camp at Fallbrook Kamp Retreat if you're here at Martin Reservoir, and here at Martin Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Red Mountain. Not far from Martin Reservoir, you'll come across Red
Mountain Reservoir which is a lovely lake, and there are plenty of folks from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos here at Martin Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Escondido Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Fallbrook Country Inn is a splendid choice.

Indian Oaks Trailer Ranch
 | 18 miles away ...ent around the grassy areas of the lake and unfortunately, animal waste was very prevalent. I wasn't sure if that was from locals with dogs or just lazy visitors who didn't clean up after their pets.
Staff hospitality was A++. The office shares the backside of the local pub and outdoor cafe next to the lake. Very quaint, unfortunately it was about 113 degrees with a fair amount of humidity and we didn't feel very motivated to enjoy the outdoor seating, which was your only option.
The park itself is aging and the wiring is there to prove it. No apparent upgrades were evident. We experienced outages daily and had to rely on our generator, which added about an additional 65 dollars in gas to stay at what was supposed to be a full hookup facility. California gas prices were at $3.59 a gallon. Ouch. While the manager tried to explain there were surges throughout the town, some of the local year-round residents who were hard wired, reported no problems.
