If you need a spot to stay Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a tremendous choice; camping is available at Mosquito Flat Campground. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Places like Mosquito Flat are pleasant to take a look at; if you're here, you could also stop by pretty Heart Lake. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You can run the rapids of San Joaquin River       - South Fork next to Marsh Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. Nearby Little Lakes Valley is a good place to go if you're at Marsh Lake, and the Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. Not much rain falls here at Marsh Lake; the month with most of the rain is January, and June is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Marsh Lake through the summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer                  temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Marsh Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Devils Postpile National Monument is recommended, and Mammoth Creek Inn is a great location to get some rest. Why not camp at Lake Inlet Campground if you're here at Marsh Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mammoth Mountain is a fine place to do that. Mono Creek is a good whitewater spot near Marsh Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again.
