And the brush on the creek banks would likely be your undoing. I've never heard of anyone ever kayaking this creek.

Carnegie Ohv State Recreation

There are 23 designated campsites and overflow camping available to the public. Carnegie is a great place to spend the night recovering from a hard day's riding and preparing for the next day. Camping is only $10. 00 per night per vehicle and is available on a first-come, first served basis. Call ahead during the winter riding season to make sure sites are available, as the campground fills early on weekends (925) 447-9027.
Campsites can have tents and RVs of any size and include a fire pit and a shade structure. Two bathrooms are available with water, toilets, and coin-operated showers. No RV hookups or dumping station are available. The water at Carnegie is potable, but you might want to bring extra drinking water.
Riding stops at dark and quiet time in the campground is from 10 p. M. To 7 a. M. Pets are allowed on a leash during the day and in a vehicle or tent at night. Fires must be contained in fire pits or barbeque grills. Collecting of firewood is not allowed. Campers must stay in... |
