| | and why not take a refreshing hike along the Clear Creek Trail. At Marlahan Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Marlahan Pond tend to be in the 30's. get enough of the pleasant skiing at Mt. Ashland. What a location this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn Yreka is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Oro Fino Pond is a nearby lake that you could
explore. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Marlahan Pond is Mountain Village RV Park; you could always explore Scott Valley. Take a hike on the Deacon Lee Trail; a lake close by is Blue Pond. Marlahan Pond
typically gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.

Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually.
