Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is always a magnificent adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Aspen Meadow Campground is a tremendous site to camp. So many amusing things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just inspiring. There are some good whitewater spots on Kings River - Middle Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Bishop. This lake is so wonderful. Chocolate Peak is scenic and can be made out from                  Marie Louise Lakes; why not camp at Willow Campground if you're here at Marie Louise Lakes.
