This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. If you need a site to stay Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a tremendous choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mokelumne River - North Fork. A great location to camp here at Lake Margaret is Caples Lake Campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sierra at Tahoe. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Margaret is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Kirwood Campground is a fine local campground; Kirkwood Meadows is a fine place here at Lake Margaret. This lake is so wonderful. Kirkwood Creek flows through this region, and there are nice places to look at along the Hawley Grade Trail. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Margaret, too pleasant to be true. Go for a hike on the Windmiller Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Silver Lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
