If you came to camp Willow Campground is a magnificent site to do that, and there are other locations here than Margaret Lake, for example Ledge Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things       in the Central Sierra Nevada. The John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section offers hiking at its best; if you fancy a little side journey, try Bishop Pass. The warmest time of the year at Margaret Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
