The beauty of Margaret Lake attracts many people from all around. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. The vista of pretty Chocolate Peak near Margaret Lake is perfect; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Sixth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is June. All year is a pleasant time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Bishop; if the weather is wonderful,
you can go for a hike along the Kings River Trail.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Margaret Lake has to offer, you can camp at Aspen Meadow Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Pacific
Crest Trail - section 11. Margaret Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. Near Margaret Lake you find Bishop Pass which is a tremendous
place to explore, and you can stay the night at Willow Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Bishop-Days Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun.
