Stay the night at Wishon Village; Manzanita Lake is not the only location close by, Corrine Lake is a close by lake. A good close by hotel is Oakhurst Lodge; you can go for a hike on the Chilnualna Fall Trail. So many cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. If you need a location to stay Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn is a perfect choice; Willow Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Manzanita       Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls all through January, and July is when it's the driest. All through the long summer days at Manzanita Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Manzanita Lake. Manzanita Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada.                  There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Manzanita Lake has to offer. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling close to Manzanita Lake is San Joaquin River. There's so much to do here at Manzanita Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wishon Point Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
