OPP party:
Myself and my brother have been camping at Wagners Campground at Mammoth Pool Reservoirs since the 70's.  We grew up every summer here and now we have our families and friends that join us every summer.  Its a beautiful, peaceful and fun place to raise your kids on camping.  Boating is great on the lake since you can sneak in some great water for catching some BIG AIR!  with no one on the lake but maybe 1-2 boats.  Its a great place to have your kids learn all the water sports, you don't have to worry about other boaters trying to run them over!!!!! as most lakes are!!!  SEE YA THERE!!!

Chet:
I have been camping @ the Wagner's Campground since 1981 and my wife has been going there just before the lake was formed. How long have you been going there? We usually go between June-July.

Bob D:
Mammouth Pool is a place my son and I try to visit every year. Despite the drop in water starting in August, it is still a great fishery. The available camp grounds are well maintained and clean but be advised, some can only take shorter RV's so check out the sites before going. If your 20 plus long w/vehicle, I advise Soda springs. Lots os space and ample area to park where as Sweetwater although I love this site, cannot take the longer units, DRATS! Don't miss out however, this watershed has many things to offer in the summer months when the launch ramp is available. The store does offer fuel but BE ALERT! It aint cheap! Best load up in Northfork or Fresno. As for a final stop, check out the great barkery in Northfork before heading up. You might make a purchase and ask if you can fill up 5 gallons of water from the tap there. It's an artisian well water and soooooo good!
