for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Get soaked paddling on Mono Creek; Bottomless Pit is a
gorgeous location any time of year. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Bigwood is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Mammoth Lakes that you

month of the year is June. During the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Mammoth Lakes, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and after the sun is
down through the winter temperatures at Mammoth Lakes dip into the 20's. Hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail is delightful fun, and you'll hit upon a striking lake called McCloud Lake. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always
beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Falls is an inspiring place to explore while you're here, and the slopes of Mammoth Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.
