    The beauty of Mammoth Lakes is reason enough to stop by. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you're interested in cool geologic features, try Mammoth Rock, and wonderful hiking is available along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Mammoth Lakes gets a common amount of rainfall; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. There are some  
   good whitewater spots on Mono Creek, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Lake George is one of those nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are perfect places to have a look at, and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception, and Bottomless Pit is a scenic place any time of year. If you need a place to stay Bigwood is a nice choice, and good skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain. So many exciting things to do at Mammoth Lakes, so little
 
               time. Cold Water Creek is a wonderful local stream, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Mamie is just a very short distance away.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mammoth Lakes; John Muir Trail - section 2 is a wonderful local trail; a journey to Mammoth Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Twin Falls. June Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and at Mammoth Lakes you can catch a glimpse of Crystal Crag. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
Mammoth Lakes is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cold Water Campground is a great place to camp nearby; a wonderful location is Mammoth Pass. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Playing golf is lots of fun at Snowcreek Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail. Just can't get enough of Mammoth Lakes. There's whitewater on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mammoth Lakes has to offer, you can camp at McGee Creek RV Park and Campground.
At Mammoth Lakes through the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Mammoth Lakes tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Juniper Springs Resort is a perfect spot to get some rest.
