     California has many beautiful lakes and Lake Mamie is one of them. Having a tremendous time at Lake Mamie is simple. A short tour to Twin Falls is always worthwhile; June Mountain is a fine local ski area. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Mamie is close to the national average; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the  
   Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. There are other places here than Lake Mamie, for example McCloud Lake, and Mammoth Rock is an exciting thing to make out since you're here.
So much fun stuff right next door to Lake Mamie, clearly extraordinary. Whitewater paddling is good on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and Mammoth Pass is a fine place to go to. Lake Mamie is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because
 
               Snowcreek Golf Course is close at hand; Bigwood is a perfect site to get some rest.
A pleasant visit to Bottomless Pit is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, and dry warm beds await you at Juniper Springs Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Mamie; Mammoth Rock Trail is a nice local trail, and Mono Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada rules! Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Sotcher Lake right next door to Lake Mamie; McGee Creek RV Park and Campground is a brilliant local campground.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cold Water Creek. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2, and the peak of Crystal Crag can be made out from Lake Mamie. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Devils Postpile National Monument is worthwhile.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Water Campground is a glorious site to camp, and the skiing at Mammoth Mountain is good. During the summertime months highs here at Lake Mamie reach the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Lake Mamie tend to be in the 20's.
