The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. A lake close by is Lake George, and Cold Water Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of June Mountain is just what you need, and if you need a spot to stay Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a good choice. water? Try Cold Water Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Mamie is a fine site to visit for more than one day, McGee Creek RV Park and Campground is a fine site to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail is
always a great adventure. The snow is magnificent at Mammoth Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You
need to visit Mammoth Rock since you're here at Lake Mamie; the vistas at Devils Postpile National Monument will blow your mind. A pleasant location to visit near Lake Mamie is Mammoth Pass, and there are some great whitewater spots
on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. High temperatures at Lake Mamie through the summer are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while Lake
Mamie overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Snowcreek Golf Course; nearby you find the Mammoth Rock Trail which is a great hiking trail.
