If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Lake Mamie. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Crystal Crag is a peak you can observe from Lake Mamie. Lake Mamie is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - section 2; camping at Reds Meadow Campground is always a great experience.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and Mono Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Twin Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and splendid skiing awaits you at June Mountain. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Mamie, so little time. Nevada, not sufficient time. Cold Water Creek is a good local stream, and Bottomless Pit is right here at Lake Mamie. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Devils Postpile National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't
yet, and don't leave Lake Mamie without first checking out Mammoth Rock. Dry warm beds await you at Juniper Springs Resort, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Mammoth Mountain. This site, the Central Sierra
Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lake Barrett; Lake Mamie is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Cold Water Campground is a tremendous
local campground. This site is great, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Lake Mamie. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and you could
always explore Mammoth Pass. The yearly rain here at Lake Mamie is about average; the month with most of the rain is January, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer here
at Lake Mamie, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Lake Mamie tend to be in the 20's.
