and a lake close by is Lake George. Float down the rapids of Mono Creek in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Bigwood. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Snowcreek Golf Course.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cold Water Creek, and if you need a location to stay Juniper Springs Resort is a pleasant choice. A pleasant tour to Bottomless Pit is a good way to spend an afternoon;
why not camp at McGee Creek RV Park and Campground while you're here at Lake Mamie. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a wonderful time. If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - Middle Fork offers
some glorious whitewater, and Mammoth Rock is an interesting place to stop by while at Lake Mamie. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping is available at Cold Water Campground, and there is a good hiking
trail nearby called the Sherwin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2 is always a good adventure, and if you get bored of Lake Mamie you could also stop by close by Mammoth
Lakes. All the outdoors cool things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. Mammoth Pass is right next door to Lake Mamie and is a perfect place, and Crystal Crag is simple to spot from Lake Mamie.
