If you need a site to stay Malibu Beach Inn is a great choice; if you came to camp Malibu Creek State Park is a wonderful location to do that. Malibu Reservoir is a location that is pretty dried up frequently; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The good people of Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura like to hang out nearby, and Malibu Beach is       a beach nearby that you can stop at. All through the summertime months here at Malibu Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Malibu Reservoir throughout the wintertime regularly drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is one of the destinations                  close to Malibu Reservoir that are fine to go to, and camping at Malibu Beach RV Park is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is The Malibu Motel, and on a lovely day you acquire a glorious view of Mesa Peak from Malibu Reservoir. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Cold Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and a good beach nearby is Amarillo Beach.
