All through the months of summer at Malibu Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 60's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Malibu Lake descend into the 40's. Malibu Lake is not the only location close by, Contury Reservoir is a close by lake, and a journey to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area       is worthwhile. Stay the night at RV Sand and Sea, and let's not forget Medea Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. This lake is so wonderful. Renaissance Agoura Hills Hotel is a great location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Piru Creek. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Malibu Lake has it all. Time spent at Escondido Beach near Malibu Lake is                  always wonderful, and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Westlake Golf Course. Spend the day on the beach at Corral Beach while you're here at Malibu Lake, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Homewood Suites by Hilton« Agoura Hills, CA. Malibu Beach RV Park is a good campground here, and Malibu Lake is a spot with many visitors from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you obtain a view of Goat Buttes from Malibu Lake.
