Not much rain falls here at Malibu Lagoon; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is mostly the driest month. At Malibu Lagoon through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Malibu Lagoon descend into the 30's. A great       close by hotel is The Malibu Motel, and Malibu Lagoon is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Malibu Beach RV Park is a brilliant site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Malibu Creek State Park is a magnificent local campground, and since you're here, you could go to Malibu Creek. Not far from Malibu Lagoon you find Kellers Shelter; while you're here, you might as well explore Winter Canyon. Hit the beach if you want, Carbon Beach is                  practically right here, and a cool spot to take a look at is Malibu Bluffs. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Malibu Lagoon. If you need a spot to stay Malibu Beach Inn is a magnificent choice, and this is a popular spot for people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura. This lake is so wonderful.
