is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Malibu Reservoir near Malibu Lagoon; you can hit the beach if you want, Carbon Beach is practically right here. Malibu Lagoon is a location that is pretty dehydrated commonly;
January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you need a location to stay Malibu Beach Inn is a pleasant choice, and it's a magnificent idea to check out Malibu Creek.

 | 13 miles away I stopped by here because I noticed there was rock worth exploring for climbing, but when I approached the gate, it said the area was closed to the public. This seemed like a great place to visit, get some climbing in and then take a dip in the lake. If anyone has any further information about the closing, please post it.... |

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
