Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Madera Lakes. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's while Madera Lakes night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Yosemite National Park is a great national park. This lake is so wonderful. The Balls towers over Madera Lakes, and nearby you discover the Mono Meadow Trail which is a good hiking trail.

| | And that's not all you can do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Some of the water close by flows, like Shirley Creek, and you can stay the night at Upper Chiquito Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Burro Lake; from Madera Lakes you acquire a nice sight of Balls. most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Half Dome Trail is always a great adventure, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Merced River - South Fork. Just can't get enough
of the Central Sierra Nevada. The Clouds Rest Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Madera Lakes, and Madera Lakes is a great place to visit for more than one day, Bowler Group Campground is a great place to camp nearby.
If you need a site to stay The Ahwahnee is a great choice, and there's whitewater on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. There's just no way someone
can get bored here at Madera Lakes. A fine close by hotel is Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. Lakes are wonderful; Lady Lake is a lake that's next to Madera Lakes.
