Millerton Lake
 | 17 miles away 4 PHOTOS Lake Millerton: We had the picnic and the BBQ right next to the water.... Lake Millerton: Floating in fun here too. The water is really calm in this part of the lake.... Lake Millerton: We're having a great time in the lake.... This is a great lake in the Sierra foothills outside Fresno. It's a good windsurfing lake on stormy days although it gets very gusty. The best place to launch is on the east side of the lake. But if you're not windsurfing the west side is a lot nicer and less crowded with lots of big rocks and small scattered beaches. There's a small waterfall on the west side as well just a very short hike up the hill. Camping is on the west side as well.... |
