This lake is so wonderful. Luther Lake is right by the Garden Gulch Trail; Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a delightful local destination. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Luther Lake; Deacon Lee Trail is a pleasant local trail. There's so much to do here at Luther Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shadow Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that. There's no way someone can get bored here in the       Klamath Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tanners Peak Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Luther Lake has to offer, you can camp at Snipes' Villa. From a rain point of view Luther Lake is a quite common spot; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. Having a tremendous time at Luther Lake is easy. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Salmon River - South Fork. Luther Lake                  is located in the Klamath Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Luther Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Luther Lake.
