Yosemite National Park is one of the destinations near Lukens Lake that are pleasant to go to, and if you get bored of Lukens Lake you could also stop by nearby Harden Lake. Lukens Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. So much enjoyable stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just fantastic. The Ahwahnee is a tremendous location to get       some rest, and close by you hit upon the Hetch Hetchy Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yosemite Creek, and Lukens Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lower River Campground is a wonderful local campground. For the period of the long summer days at Lukens Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime                  highs are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lukens Lake. And that's not everything you can do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel; going for a hike on the Ten Lakes Trail is always a great adventure. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are in fact bountiful here at Lukens Lake. Do set aside some time for Dark Hole since you're here at Lukens Lake; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Tuolumne River. Lukens Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
