If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lukens Lake. Lukens Lake usually gets a lot of rainfall; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Lower River Campground is a pleasant local campground; you can hit the slopes at Badger Pass nearby. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Ten Lakes Trail which is a good hiking trail; Yosemite National Park is one of the destinations that are tremendous to take a look at nearby. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Eagle Peak Trail is always a good adventure, and don’t forget to check out Dark Hole if you're here at Lukens Lake. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.

hiking trail near Lukens Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuolumne River. A great close by hotel is dnc -- Wawona Hotel, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is Yosemite
Creek.
For the period of the summer at Lukens Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Lukens Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
