This lake is so wonderful. Kirkwood is a very popular ski area close at hand, and there are other places here than Lake Lucille, for example Grass Lake. All the outdoors cool stuff in the neighborhood of Lake Lucille will keep you coming back time and again. You can run the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork near Lake Lucille; Desolation Valley is a magnificent place       here at Lake Lucille. Fortyfive Mile Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Windmiller Trail. Lake Lucille gets a normal amount of yearly rain; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is when it's the driest. On a gorgeous day you can take a look at Baldwin Beach near Lake Lucille, and do take a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just                  come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. A brilliant close by hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel, and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Kiva Beach is next to Lake Lucille and is a pretty beach to pop by; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of American River - South Fork. Not far from Lake Lucille, you'll locate Lake Margery which is a delightful lake; Glen Alpine Spring is always fun to check out. You absolutely must adore the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hit the slopes at Sierra at Tahoe in the neighborhood, and here at Lake Lucille you can observe Cracked Crag. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Sayles Flat Campground is a tremendous site to camp, and Lake Lucille is a site with many visitors from Gardnerville Ranchos. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Lake Lucille is so good! After a long day outdoors Pistantes Coyote Den is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the General Creek Trail is glorious fun. During the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lake Lucille, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
