Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rancheria Creek, and a good place to camp here at Lake Lower is Plantation Farm Camp. If you're looking for a beach close to Lake                  Lower, we recommend Clam Beach, and a good location close by is Chinese Gulch. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Coast Ranges is great! Camping is available at Salt Point State Park; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Stump Beach. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer. A lake close by is Hedgpeth Lake; Village Inn And Restaurant is a fine spot to get some rest. From a rainfall point of view Lake Lower is a pretty normal place; all through January this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
