Beautiful Lower Twin Lake has much to offer visitors. The high level of rain makes Lower Twin Lake a reasonably wet place; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. So many fun things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too good to be true. The Bunchgrass Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you're here at Lower Twin Lake it's a great idea to stop at Thousand Lakes Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Pit River

| | is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Lower Twin Lake; after a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lower Twin Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Twin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. by the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Pit River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chaos Crags Trail; Lower Twin Lake is not the only site nearby, Upper Twin Lake is a nearby
lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. If you came to camp Cypress Campground is a good spot to do that, as expected you could also stop by Everett Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. If only
every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Camping at Bunchgrass Campground is always a glorious experience, and Crater Peak is clearly visible from Lower Twin Lake.

There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guests to use. Our bathhouse has large showers and stalls, there is a laundry faclilty for the guests convience.
