    If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Lower Sunset Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and Jeff Davis Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Summer at Lower Sunset Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the  
   duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows during the winter for Lower Sunset Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You must definitely dedicate some time to Indian Valley since you're here at Lower Sunset Lake; camping at Lower Blue Lake Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Creekside
 
               Lodge is a nice site to get some rest. You absolutely must like the Northern Sierra Nevada. During your tour to Lower Sunset Lake you'll meet some people from Gardnerville Ranchos for sure, and at Summit Lake Dam close to Lower Sunset Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see.
So much fun stuff close to Lower Sunset Lake, definitely amazing. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Carson River - East Fork, and Jeff Davis Peak is uncomplicated to spot from Lower Sunset Lake. Lower Sunset Lake is not the only spot nearby, Hellhole Lake is a nearby lake, and a great location to camp here at Lower Sunset Lake is Hermit Valley Campground. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting noone can resist, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Charity Valley Trail.
Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Lower Sunset Lake. Gotta ski! Bear Valley is a good place to do that; after a long day outdoors Woodfords Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Lower Sunset Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
