Lower Sardine Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get covered with water paddling on Yuba River - North Fork; going for a hike on the Butcher Ranch Trail is always a nice adventure. Sierra Buttes is a peak you can spot from Lower Sardine Lake, and close by you find the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 which is a magnificent hiking trail.

| | Dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Deer Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Dugan Pond near Lower Sardine Lake, and drift down the rapids of Lavezzola Creek in a kayak. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do right next door to Lower Sardine Lake. It's a nice idea to visit Church Creek, it's near Lower Sardine Lake It's always wonderful | |

to check out Big Springs. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lower Sardine Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Camping at Sardine Campground is always a splendid experience, and if you need a site to stay Chalet View Lodge is a glorious
choice. There are plenty of people from Truckee-Grass Valley here at Lower Sardine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Sierra Skies RV Park is a brilliant place to do that, and the skiing at Royal Gorge is tremendous.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Summertime highs at Lower Sardine Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs all
through the winter are usually in the 40's while Lower Sardine Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
