This lake is so wonderful. Church Creek is a stream that you may run into while here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Salmon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Diablo Campground. Lakes? Sure, Deer Lake is in the vicinity. There's so much to do here at Lower Salmon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snag Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that. Lower Salmon Lake is a beautiful       lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Deer Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure, and after a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Yuba River - North Fork, and if you need a place to stay Deer Creek Inn is a magnificent choice. That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has                  it all. Church Meadows is a picturesque spot any time of year; don't leave Lower Salmon Lake without first going for a hike along the Butcher Ranch Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. Paddling on Lavezzola Creek is so much fun, and the slopes of Royal Gorge are so inviting noone can resist. Lower Salmon Lake gets a typical amount of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do near Lower Salmon Lake. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15; you don’t have to go far from Lower Salmon Lake to spot the water at Lower Salmon Lake Dam. Summertime highs at Lower Salmon Lake generally tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 40's.
