All year is a brilliant time in the Klamath Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline junkies. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too great to be true. You can run the rapids of Salmon River - South Fork near Lower Russian Lake; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Garden Gulch Trail. So       many amusing things to do here at Lower Russian Lake, too great to be true. Lower Russian Lake is right by the Deacon Lee Trail; do explore Waterdog Lake, it's a picturesque lake. At Lower Russian Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lower Russian                  Lake.
