This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent spot to camp here at Lower Russian Lake is Idlewild Campground, and do take a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail. Lower Russian Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Trail Creek Campground is a perfect local campground, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka. Lower

| | Russian Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Summertime highs at Lower Russian Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Lower Russian Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. But wait, there's more cool things to do | |

in the Klamath Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Garden Gulch Trail, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Salmon River - South Fork. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Why not take a refreshing
hike along the Deacon Lee Trail, and if you've had enough of Lower Russian Lake, Waterdog Lake is nearby. Blakes Fork is a good local stream; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Golden Russian Lake is one of those close by. Lower Russian Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains.
