Don't leave Lower Rose Lake without first going for a hike along the Rose Lion Trail, and there's great hiking along the Middle Sespe Trail. Lower Rose Lake is not the only place close by, Senior Canyon Reservoir is a close by lake; do pay a visit to Channel Islands National Park since you're here at Lower Rose Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the vicinity of Lower Rose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Clubhouse

Valley Falls is always worthwhile. Having a brilliant time in the Sierra Madre is simple. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Rose Lake; Horn Canyon Trail is a perfect local trail; Best Western Casa Ojai is a glorious
place to get some rest. Lower Rose Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sierra Madre. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hummingbird Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and you need to take a look at
Piedra Blanca if you're here. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Lower Rose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Lion Campground is a fine place for that, and a lake close
by is Upper Rose Lake. Lower Rose Lake is pretty dry typically; the wettest month of the year is typically February, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs
in the 90's to Lower Rose Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lower Rose Lake.

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
