A visit to Lower Rose Lake is always a good idea. Float down the rapids of Sespe Creek in a kayak, and Clubhouse the at Soule Park Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lower Rose Lake, for example Senior Canyon Reservoir; you can stay the night at Rose Valley Campground. For the period of the summer months at Lower Rose Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down

This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail next to Lower Rose Lake called the Middle Sespe Trail.
