This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Ottoway Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bowler Group Campground; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek. Life's too short to enjoy  
   all the entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada. A splendid close by hotel is dnc -- Wawona Hotel; you can observe Clark Range from Lower Ottoway Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is a delightful local destination here at Lower Ottoway Lake, and Merced River - South Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lakes? Sure, Upper Ottoway Lake is nearby, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the John Muir
 
               Trail - section 1. Lower Ottoway Lake is right by the Clouds Rest Trail, and since you're here why not visit Red Peak Pass.
The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. So many amusing things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just amazing. Lower Ottoway Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Upper Chiquito Campground is a fine place to camp nearby, and hey, Gotta ski right? Badger Pass is a great location to do that. From a rainfall point of view Lower Ottoway Lake is a pretty common place; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July.
Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Lower Ottoway Lake is great!. High temperatures at Lower Ottoway Lake all through the warm months are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Lower Ottoway Lake drop into the 20's. Not far from Lower Ottoway Lake, you'll discover Ottoway Lakes which is a striking lake, and the Clark Range casts its shadow over Lower Ottoway Lake.
